TWO EXCELLENT BRACING OPTIONS

Dr. John offers patients two fantastic bracing options for each patient's scoliosis' needs.

Research shows specialized scoliosis bracing can be an effective non-surgical treatment for scoliosis. Surgery can be avoided in most cases when scoliosis bracing is prescribed, even with high-patients. Bracing is an effective treatment method for adolescents and juvenile cases. Patients who wear scoliosis braces get better results the longer they wear the brace each day

Dynamic Brace Treatment

SpineCor Treatment can successfully treat many different curve types… from small curves to larger and multiple curves. Unlike some other treatments, SpineCor treatment maintains the stability of the curve and muscle strength. This leads to better long term results.

What is a SpineCor Brace?

SpineCor Braces are customized to the needs of each patient. The lower part of the brace acts as an anchor for the upper corrective part of the brace, whose bands wrap around the body to control the position of the spine. The corrective bands push, pull or twist the trunk in order to off-load or improve the position of the spine. The family of SpineCor Braces pictured share the same basic design characteristics of an upper corrective part and a lower pelvic anchor part. Each SpineCor Brace offers different design features. Dr. John will be able to advise you on the most appropriate version for you.

ScoliBrace® – a new era
of bracing is here

ScoliCare has developed its own unique scoliosis brace called a ScoliBrace. Traditional medical braces only try to hold the curve whereas a ScoliBrace aims to correct the curve.

Corrective

ScoliBrace is an over-corrective brace.  It works by guiding the body and spine into a posture that is the opposite of how scoliosis is shaped. Curve reduction may be achieved while improving the overall appearance of the body.
